Stay Physically Active
: Exercise is important in our every day health. Adults should get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate or 75 minutes a week of vigorous aerobic physical activity or an equivalent combination of both, plus muscle-strengthening activities on 2 or more days a week. Make movement part of your lifestyle—use the stairs, park further away and walk or cycle to work, and get your muscles warmed up during the day.


Prioritize Mental Health: When things are going wrong and our stereotype to-do list prioritizes everything in life but peace of mind, it can act as a constant reminder, as important as the aches and pains we feel when we stand up from sitting for too long. Take a walk or bike ride, do yoga, participate in some form of mindfulness or meditation, deep breathing. Do not miss the opportunity of hobbies, friends, and fun activities that are within your spare time. Extremely important all the time and especially nowadays people need to be aware that asking professionals for help is not a sign of the weakness.


Eat a Balanced, Nutrient-Dense Diet: Consume foods that are not processed, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, fish, healthy oils and nuts. Get Sufficient Sleep: Each night people need about 8-9 hours of restful sleep to allow the body to repair tissues, boost brain function and strengthen the immune system. Adults should sleep for roughly 7-9 hours every night, and it is important that they try sticking to their night schedule. Also avoid using any type of screen during bedtime, avoid consumption of caffeine in the evening and ensure the room is conducive enough for sleep.


Stay Connected and Social: Social relationship and social support are other factors which play central role in emotional and physical health. It’s okay to be social, hang out with friends and relatives, exercise within your community when in need of support go for it. Coping with stress plays an important part in the subject of life satisfaction, and having good social support could help us to handle stress.
